Location: Brooklyn, NY (Bushwick)
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood classrooms. Our center provides a joyful, play-based environment where children learn through exploration, creativity, and hands‑on experiences.

• Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with implementing age‑appropriate learning activities and daily routines.
• Help manage classroom tasks including meals, diapering/potty routines, rest time, and transitions.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that supports learning and independence.
• Follow all NYC childcare licensing and center safety guidelines.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability.
• A passion for early childhood education and helping young children learn and grow.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus (not required).
