HN– Nanny – Brooklyn, NY

Overview:

A family in Brooklyn is seeking a warm, loving nanny for their 1-year-old daughter (currently 13-months-old). The preferred schedule they are seeking is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am-6pm, but they can be flexible on what days the candidate can work; it will be 3 weekdays a week. They would start the role part‑time (24 hours/week) and it would go into full‑time eventually in February 2026.

The Mother works from home and the Father works in the City. The role starts ASAP.

• Meal prep/feeding the child
• Changing her, dressing, and hygiene as needed
• Child’s laundry
• Washing her dishes
• Taking her for walks
• Playtime, being active, and engaging with her
• For this role there is an emphasis on learning and development

• They travel sometimes and would be a bonus if the nanny could travel internationally to Europe or Australia
• Having a background in ECE (Early Childhood Education or Child Development) is a strong bonus
• 10-15 years’ experience as a nanny

• The family lives on a ground floor and 1st floor Brownstone in Brooklyn so they do require someone who is comfortable with stairs
• The child is very active so someone who can keep up with her is needed for this role
• The family has a French Bulldog so the candidate would also need to be comfortable with a medium sized dog in the home (no pet care required)
• Up to date on Child/First Aid CPR

• $38-40/hour
