Position

Summary

This position supports the mission and work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization. The Child Care & Camp Coordinator at the YMCA of Central New York assists in the management and supervision of all aspects of the Child Care programs and facility. Maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and provides direct leadership, instruction, motivation, safety, and enjoyment for Child Care participants and staff.

The Child Care Coordinator provides direct leadership and assures the well-being for each participant and staff in line with YMCA of the USA guidelines and association policies in accordance with their training.

Requirements Trainings & Certifications
  • Must attend and complete YMCA Bloodborne Pathogens, Employee Safety and Child Abuse Prevention trainings, as well as any other related training per the Kids Camp Training Schedule.
  • CPR/AED and/or First Aid certifications preferred (opportunity provided).
