Job Overview
A family on the Upper East Side is looking for a highly organized, experienced Nanny to support busy children. The role involves caring for school‑aged children, managing household tasks and assisting with family logistics.
Responsibilities- Prepare meals
- Organize the home
- Manage schedules
- Light housekeeping
- Family laundry
- Oversee children's activities
- Transport children to/from activities
- Handle school drop‑off and pick‑up
- Assist with homework
- Maintain household organization
- Highly organized and self‑starter, as both parents work
- Flexible with working hours, willing to stay overnight and travel with the family
- Strong communicator, driver, and swimmer
- Comfortable driving in Manhattan and suburbs
- College education is a plus
- No pets in nanny’s home because the family has severe allergies
Typical schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7am–6pm or 10am–7/8pm, with flexibility for overnights and longer hours when needed. Salary: $35–$45 per hour plus health insurance.
Start date:
June.
