CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE (GRANT/SPECIAL FUNDING)

To provide for the physical, emotional, developmental, and social well-being of infants, toddlers, and three-year-olds.

• Provide supportive care and supervision for infants, toddlers, and three-year-olds in alignment with program standards.
• Support developmentally appropriate activities and routines that promote screening, observation, and documentation of child development.
• Collaborate with program staff and families to support children's learning and wellbeing.

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of a GED; must hold and maintain a valid State of Florida CDA credential or equivalent with a focus on infant and toddler development per Head Start Performance Standards.
• Or an earned associate's degree or higher with coursework in infant and toddler development per Head Start Performance Standards.
• If required by the program funding source, complete any mandated continuing education within the specified time frame to maintain active employment in the position.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

• Additional relevant education or experience in early childhood development is desirable.
