Visions Design-Builder is seeking a highly experienced, hands‑on General Project Superintendent to lead a high‑end commercial remodeling and addition project in East Hampton, NY. You will be the primary on‑site leader, overseeing field operations and coordinating closely with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to deliver a premium‑quality build safely, on time, and on budget.

• Lead and manage all on‑site construction activities from mobilisation to closeout
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and MEP trades to maintain schedule and quality
• Ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency at all times
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager on scheduling, logistics, and daily planning
• Review construction documents and enforce specifications and design intent
• Conduct daily site walks, coordinate inspections, and resolve field issues as they arise
• Manage material deliveries, vendor coordination, and inventory tracking
• Represent the general contractor on‑site with professionalism and authority
• Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, and internal teams

• 15+ years of hands‑on carpentry experience (rough framing through finish)
• 10+ years as a General Superintendent in remodeling and additions
• Strong background in both residential and commercial construction, especially in occupied or active sites
• Deep knowledge of subcontractor coordination and mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
• Familiarity with NY building codes, jobsite safety regulations, and local permitting
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
