, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring a Safety Coordinator for electric operations at our Plant City, FL office. The successful candidate will be a Journeyman Lineworker with at least five years verifiable experience in electrical transmission/distribution and be familiar with DOT and OSHA programs, regulations, and procedures.

• Develops, delivers, and documents safety training
• Maintains safety records
• Conducts regular safety inspections to enforce safety programs and policies
• Assists in identifying and mitigating hazards at job site locations
• Investigates accidents, injuries, and job damages
• Monitors contract service/inspection of fire and safety equipment
• Assists Supervisors in preparing materials for safety meetings
• Travel is required

• Certifications in OSHA 500 and 510, and qualification to teach OSHA 10
• Knowledge of industry safety practices, NESC, DOT, OSHA, ADOSH regulations, and guidelines
• Certified and trained in first aid, CPR, HAZCOM, PPE, and Pole Top Rescue
