DescriptionTeam Fishel
, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring a Safety Coordinator for electric operations at our Plant City, FL office. The successful candidate will be a Journeyman Lineworker with at least five years verifiable experience in electrical transmission/distribution and be familiar with DOT and OSHA programs, regulations, and procedures.
- Develops, delivers, and documents safety training
- Maintains safety records
- Conducts regular safety inspections to enforce safety programs and policies
- Assists in identifying and mitigating hazards at job site locations
- Investigates accidents, injuries, and job damages
- Monitors contract service/inspection of fire and safety equipment
- Assists Supervisors in preparing materials for safety meetings
- Travel is required
- Certifications in OSHA 500 and 510, and qualification to teach OSHA 10
- Knowledge of industry safety practices, NESC, DOT, OSHA, ADOSH regulations, and guidelines
- Certified and trained in first aid, CPR, HAZCOM, PPE, and Pole Top Rescue
