Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Position Overview
The Construction Manager will oversee daily construction operations for Distributed Antenna System (DAS) projects across the South Florida region. This individual will manage internal and subcontracted installation crews, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and possesses strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Reports to the Operations Manager for the region.
- Manage and supervise field installation crews and subcontractors on multiple job sites.
- Oversee construction activities including site preparation, installation, integration, and close-out.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, local building codes, and company standardslili>
Coordinate with project managers and distributors to ensure materials and equipment are delivered and installed on schedule. - Track project progress, budgets, and identify potential risks or delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of job site activities, materials, and labor.
- Communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to team training and development.
- Supports and assists the Project Manager, Operations Technicians, Installation Technicians, Maintenance and Monitoring Technician and Engineering Services as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or
- 5+ years of construction management or field supervision experience (wireless or DAS industry experience preferred but not required).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, and safety standards (OSHA certification preferred).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, project management, and construction tracking tools.
- Ability to travel locally throughout South Florida as needed.
