Sr. Construction Estimator

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Estimator with proven experience in developing, managing, and analyzing project budgets. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that budgets are realistic, competitive, and aligned with client requirements. The Senior Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to deliver reliable financial projections that support successful project execution.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Develop and manage project budgets from initial concept through final delivery.
• Review design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy in estimating.
• Perform cost analysis and risk assessment to identify potential budget challenges.
• Track and report on project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Solicit, review, and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Work closely with project management teams to monitor costs and provide recommendations for cost savings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing trends, market conditions, and construction methods.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the development of best practices within the estimating team.
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards, contractual obligations, and client requirements.

Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 a year
