Commercial Construction Project Manager

Location:

Bohemia, NY. Base pay range: $140,000 - $190,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Position Summary:

Commercial Construction Project Manager is directly responsible for the overall success of the project. Primary focus will be on contract management, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and customer service. This position is located at Bohemia, NY.

• Ability to read and understand Contract Drawings and Specifications
• Experience drafting subcontractor scopes or work
• Logical and organized approach to completing tasks and solving problems
• Full understanding of all Divisions of work
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Ability to forge relationships with client base
• Ability to create, manage, and update project Schedule using industry software
• Successful track record managing projects greater than $5M
• Other duties as assigned.

• A minimum of 10 years of project management experience on commercial construction projects.
• Must have completed 3 similar projects:
  Phased, occupied renovation including laboratory space and value of $79MM.
• Software proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, P6 and/or Asta Power Project preferred.
• Work location will be on the project site of the work at any time work is being performed unless an absence is approved.
• Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills and the ability to present information to supervisors, groups of clients, top management, or team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management Preferred.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
