As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our Precon team based in New York city (USA) and inviting a Preconstruction Project Manager to join our company and play a critical role in the planning and execution of our projects.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the preconstruction phase of projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other project managers, purchasing managers, and estimators, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage communications with external stakeholders, such as developers, general contractors, architects, and facade consultants.
- Prepare and present detailed project proposals and reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations with the support of Dextall’s Technical Manager.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on preconstruction and facade systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Experience with facades, curtain walls, and/or prefabricated exterior wall systems.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP).
