Job SummaryTitle: Superintendent/Project Manager
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Project: ADA bathroom renovation project
Duration: 2 Years – Starting in January ’26
Work Details: Full-time, Day shifts
This role works closely and supports the Engineer in Charge (EIC) to coordinate technical and administrative tasks throughout all phases of construction and to support the Bathroom renovation in 2 county buildings in the Duchess County and Electrical, plumbing work.
Role and Responsibilities- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Monitor construction, repair, and renovation work to ensure quality, compliance, and budget control.
- Coordinate construction activities across multiple trades, with a focus on MEP systems.
- Oversee contractor performance, manage submittals, RFIs, requisitions, and change orders.
- Support cost tracking, forecasting, and payment reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
- 2+ years of construction APM experience in planning, estimating, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document reviews, forecast and cost scheduling, and preparation of change orders.
- Ability to read/interpret construction documents and manage contract documentation.
