Superintendent, Construction

We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on major heavy civil infrastructure projects across the New York region. This is a boots‑on‑the‑ground leadership role for someone who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and knows how to drive productivity, safety, and quality.

• Direct daily site operations across bridge, highway, utility, and earthwork scopes
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specs, and safety standards
• Interface with Project Managers, engineers, and agency inspectors
• Maintain daily reports, lookahead schedules, and site logistics

• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction field leadership
• Deep expertise in structures, concrete, utilities, MPT, and DOT work
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and QC procedures
• Track record of delivering public sector jobs in NY/NJ (e.g., NYSDOT, NYCDEP, TBTA)
• Proactive communicator and problem solver with a focus on field excellence
