International Blind Contractors LTD is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Estimator to join our hybrid Office & Admin team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in commercial construction or window treatments who excels at construction takeoffs, cost analysis, and vendor coordination. The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in shaping our project proposals and driving business success through precise budgeting and strategic insights.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bids for commercial window treatment projects.

Perform accurate takeoffs using software such as Bluebeam, OnScreen, and other estimating platforms.

Analyze blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents.

Review and interpret subcontractor and supplier quotes for completeness and accuracy.

Collaborate with project managers, sales, and procurement to ensure comprehensive bid proposals.

Track and maintain historical data and pricing trends to improve accuracy and competitiveness.

Ensure timely completion and submission of bids in line with company goals and client deadlines.

Communicate effectively with architects, contractors, and suppliers throughout the bidding process.

Attend project meetings and site visits as needed to support estimation accuracy.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in window treatment estimating or related NYC commercial construction estimating.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred.

Proficiency in takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, OnScreen Takeoff) and Microsoft Excel.

Deep understanding of construction documents, bid processes, and cost structures.

Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsive with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
