Drywall Estimator

A large, well-established drywall contractor in the New York City (Brooklyn) market is seeking a skilled
Drywall Estimator to join a fast-paced, collaborative estimating team. This organization handles a heavy mix of ground-up multifamily, conversions, hotels, condos, and commercial interiors—ranging from quick-turn small projects to large, complex builds exceeding $40M.

The team is growing rapidly, workload is high, and they are looking to bring on the right person as soon as possible
.

• Preparing accurate estimates for both small interior projects ($50K–$200K) and large ground-up developments up to $40M+
• Performing detailed on-screen takeoffs using digital estimating software
• Managing a high volume of bids with quick turnaround times
• Collaborating closely with a young, energetic estimating department in an open-office environment
• Contributing to a busy and fast-moving workflow without requiring extensive oversight

• Drywall estimating experience strongly preferred
• High proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff software (Plan Swift experience is a plus)
• Ability to handle both fast, small bids and multi-day large takeoffs
• Comfortable working on large ground-up multifamily projects with hundreds of units

• Strong digital takeoff and estimating skills (software proficiency matters more than trade background)
• Able to “plug in” quickly and operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Collaborative communicator who fits well within a close-knit team
• Thrives in an open, informal office setting
