Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Contracts/Subcontract Administrator to join our Manhattan Tunnel Project in New York, New York.

Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture was awarded the Manhattan Tunnel Project, part of the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). A $1.18 billion design-build contract from the Gateway Development Commission for the HTP which aims to enhance rail resiliency by adding two new tracks between New York and New Jersey and rehabilitating the storm-damaged North River Tunnel. The project includes designing and constructing twin 30-foot diameter, 700-foot-long tunnels under the Hudson River, connecting to existing tunnels beneath Hudson Yards, and an access shaft at 12th Avenue, later serving as a ventilation facility.

As a Contracts/Subcontract Administrator at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Review, draft, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and amendments in compliance with project and company requirements.
Monitor contract execution and compliance, addressing any deviations or disputes.
Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and deliverables.
Maintain organized contract documentation, records, and correspondence.
Prepare reports on contract status, change orders, and subcontractor performance.
Track and process contract changes, modifications, and variations.
Analyze the cost, schedule, and legal impact of contract changes.
Maintain a log of all contract changes and ensure timely approvals.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in contract administration, subcontract management or change order management in the construction industry.
Experience on large heavy civil infrastructure projects w public sector clients in dense urban environment a plus.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, and legal frameworks.
Ability to manage multiple contracts, subcontracts, and change orders simultaneously.
Detail-oriented approach to tracking and maintaining contract documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, contract documents, and correspondence.
