Senior Estimator
Our well‑established, self‑performing General Contractor client is seeking a skilled Sr Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high‑quality work across commercial and public works projects while also valuing the opportunity to grow into a department leadership role.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
What You’ll Do- Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and public works projects
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and the leadership team to ensure accuracy and alignment with execution strategy
- Conduct quantity take-offs using Bluebeam and Excel
- Communicate clearly and effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date documentation for all bids and proposals
- Support value engineering and alternate solutions when applicable
- 8+ years of estimating experience in commercial and/or public works construction, self‑perform experience a must
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scopes of work, and bid procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
- Comfortable working in‑office full time, Monday through Friday
