Hedley's Custom Construction is looking for a skilled Post Frame Builder to join our growing team in Burt, NY! This is a hands‑on opportunity to craft quality post frame structures while working alongside a dedicated crew that takes pride in every build. If you love working outdoors and building things that last, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:- Construct post frame buildings including barns, garages, agricultural structures, and commercial buildings
- Set posts, install girts, purlins, trusses, roofing, and wall panels according to project plans
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading at job sites
- Prior experience in post frame construction, carpentry, or general construction preferred
- Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
