Costs Draftsman

Our client in Liverpool and Bolton, is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsman to join their team on a permanent basis. You'll work on projects that require precision, clear communication, and a thorough understanding of cost documentation standards.

• Produce accurate cost plans, estimates, and supporting documentation for projects
• Work with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop detailed cost information
• Permanent role based in Bolton with scope to develop your expertise in cost draftsmanship

• Proven experience as a Costs Draftsman or in a similar cost documentation role
• Strong proficiency in producing cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
• Solid understanding of construction costs, measurement standards, and industry conventions
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines
• Competent with relevant software tools and CAD systems used in cost drafting

• Qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline
• Membership or working towards membership of RICS or similar professional body
• Familiarity with NRM (New Rules of Measurement) or equivalent cost planning frameworks
