Asphalt Lute Man

Are you experienced in asphalt paving and skilled at finishing areas that need a hands-on touch? Do you take pride in a smooth, even surface and enjoy working with a crew to get the job done right? If so, Drewry Site Development is looking for you to join our Asphalt Paving Crew in South Daytona, FL!

• Use an asphalt lute to spread, level, and finish asphalt around edges, joints, and areas the paver cannot reach
• Rake out uneven spots and remove excess material to help achieve the required grade and thickness
• Assist the paving crew with job site preparation and cleanup
• Work alongside paver and roller operators to keep paving operations moving efficiently
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain quality standards throughout each project

As an Asphalt Lute Man, your attention to detail will make a visible difference in the finished work. We are looking for someone who is reliable, works well with others, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

• Prior experience with asphalt paving and hand finishing
• Ability to use an asphalt lute and other paving hand tools
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
