Industry leading mechanical construction contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping Estimator
. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for large-scale commercial and industrial piping projects. Candidates will only be considered if they have a minimum 5 years’ proven mechanical piping estimating experience.
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and RFP documents.
- Perform detailed take-offs of piping systems and components.
- Calculate accurate material, labor, equipment, and tracking costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field superintendents.
- Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits as needed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical piping estimating
- Deep knowledge of mechanical piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret complex industrial and commercial blueprints.
- Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Autobid), in addition to Excel and Word.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
