Posted 2 days ago INSURANCE Construction Safety Specialist opening in Upstate New York area. Position requires traveling to clients and conducting safety inspections of worksites and facilities; candidate should be able to identify workplace hazards and submit recommendations for compliance; candidate is also expected to write safety programs and assist in implementation; hold safety classes with client employees when indicated; create safety manuals.
Also, site-specific manuals when required; discuss safety protocol with when required. Ideal candidate has knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 (all sub parts) required; holds certificates and is able to conduct forklift safety training, aerial lift, and boom safety training; OSHA certified trainer and possessing a NYS CR-59 certification is a plus, however, may achieve certification during employment. Ability to travel 50-75% within New York State.
Construction sites are located in upstate district with locations in Albany to Buffalo, to Binghamton to Rochester area. Full benefits as of the 1st of the next month. (DC12986)
