Adjunct Art Instructor – Adult Students, Hartsdale, NY

We are recruiting an experienced instructor to teach advanced teen and adult students, focusing on digital and traditional art techniques. Classes run weekdays and weekends, with opportunities for extra substitution classes starting Fall 2025. Curriculum is centrally designed, minimal prep required, and all tools, equipment, and supplies are provided.

• Deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm, tailoring instruction to suit individual student needs.
• Teach digital art techniques using Adobe Creative Suite on Mac (Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects, Procreate) or studio art techniques including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and fabric arts.
• Participate in Studio Art Shuffle Plus, Teen Portfolio Development, and optional open studio classes.
• Prepare students for studio critiques and exhibition opportunities.

• 7+ years of experience teaching traditional studio art, digital art, or digital design classes (Anime and Manga style is a preference).
• BFA is the minimum qualification; MFA or Master’s in Art Education is preferred.
• Strong communication and instructional skill.
