PR & Showroom Assistant

VAN ETTEN is a boutique, new age PR Agency based in New York City partnering with forward-thinking brands across the Fashion Industry.

• Supporting team in daily activities, including shipping, editorial previews, influencer research, sample trafficking and organizing media lists.
• Maintaining the organization of the showroom samples and press reports
• Assisting with sample trafficking, new sample inventory and gifting initiatives
• Reviewing national and local publications and websites for editorial credits on a daily basis. Reviewing influencer and celebrity pages daily for placements.
• Assisting with maintaining database of influencers, editors and VIPs
• Coordinating messenger services and shipments
• General administrative duties

• Passion for and knowledge of fashion industry and public relations
• Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, exceptionally organized, demanding a high attention to detail, excellent written and communication abilities, eagerness to contribute, ability to adapt to and multitask in high pressure situations, strong sense of urgency and a genuine enthusiasm to learn and grow in a positive, collaborative work environment
• Strong understanding of influencer and VIP landscape.
• Writing skills.
• Prior PR experience preferred (1-2 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Full-time, salaried position.
