Senior Missy/Contemporary Designer
Location: New York, NY (Full-time, On-site – 5 days a week)
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)

About UsWe are a leading wholesale apparel company specializing in missy and contemporary women’s wear across major categories. Our strong partnerships with national off-price retailers like Ross, Burlington, and TJX have positioned us as a trusted design and production partner for over two decades.
The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Missy/Contemporary Designer with deep experience in the off-price apparel space. This individual will lead design from concept through execution, bringing a balance of creativity, commercial awareness, and technical expertise to deliver strong collections tailored to our retail partners.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of missy/contemporary collections across multiple categories.
- Create and present trend-right concepts, line presentations, and CADs to internal teams and retail buyers.
- Work closely with sales, merchandising, and production teams to align product with customer needs and retail strategies.
- Develop and execute seasonal color stories, fabrications, and trim packages.
- Ensure design execution aligns with off-price market demands and retail partner expectations.
- Oversee and mentor junior design staff as needed.
- 7–10 years of experience in women’s apparel design, specifically missy/contemporary.
- Proven track record working with off-price retailers (Ross, Burlington, TJX, etc.).
- Strong presentation and CAD skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools).
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must have strong technical and fit knowledge
, including leading seasonal fittings and working with tech teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Full-time, in-office role with collaborative team culture.
- Salary range of $100,000–$150,000 based on experience.
