Our client is seeking a Packaging Production Associate-Beauty for their New York City location. This position is responsible for preparing mechanical art, which translates designs into production‑ready format, obtaining all relevant artwork approvals and releasing final artwork to vendors. Mechanical art is for various beauty packaging materials – bottles, tubes, cartons, labels, hangtags, insert cards, belly bands, gift sets, etc.

• Reports directly to Production Manager and works cross‑functionally with Art Director, Copy, Regulatory and other external groups for layout approvals, material changes and project status updates during Creative Operations status meetings.

• 3‑5 years experience producing mechanical art and a strong interest in production work (rather than design).
• Intimate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and the ability to juggle multiple fast‑tracked projects.
• Experience with international beauty product labeling requirements is very helpful.
• Ability to follow brand standards closely, create detailed and accurate specs, adjust layouts and respond to quick changes as necessary.
