Job Description

Location:

New York, NY

The foundation of Vogue’s leadership and authority is the brand’s unique role as a cultural barometer for a global audience. Vogue places fashion in the context of culture and the world we live in — how we dress, live and socialize; what we eat, listen to and watch; who leads and inspires us. Vogue immerses itself in fashion, always leading readers to what will happen next.

Thought-provoking, relevant and always influential, Vogue defines the culture of fashion.

Overview

Vogue’s Fashion Editor is a critical and creative thinker who is always looking ahead to what’s next in the industry. This person will lead the editorial direction and management of the Vogue app, with a specific focus on fashion driven engagement and interactive features, and oversee the editorial strategy and distribution of Vogue’s newsletters to promote engagement across Vogue’s key verticals.

The editor should be a fashion and culture hound who is up to date on news and trends across fashion, film, tv, music, and the arts; interests in sustainability, technology, and fashion’s social impact are also encouraged. They should have a deep knowledge of fashion and keen instincts for the next big thing, and an ability to think critically and creatively about how audiences engage with fashion through media and technology.
