Senior Graphic Designer

Bombas is a comfort focused premium basics brand with a mission to help those in need. The company launched in 2013 after the founders learned that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. From there, they set out to solve that problem, donating a pair of socks for every pair they sell. How do you donate a lot of socks?

You sell a lot. And how do you sell a lot? You make the most comfortable socks in the history of feet. Millions of pairs sold and donated later, Bombas has continued to innovate within its mission and product, introducing new socks, as well as underwear and t-shirts, all while continuing to make a positive impact on the community where we all work and live.

Based on the specific needs and job requirements, this role will be working out of our Bombas HQ in New York City.

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented designer to join Bombas’ Creative Team as Senior Graphic Designer
, reporting directly to our Creative Director. The ideal candidate has 6+ years experience with demonstrated comprehension of digital (website/content, email, display) and print (signage, mailers) design, alongside an advanced understanding and articulation of the theory, intent and performance of their work. This is an opportunity to be a part of fast-growing initiatives across digital and in-store.

• Website / Digital Content Design - Pushing our site forward with creative and technical solutions fueled by advanced understanding of synergy between layout and content
• Email Design - High-level, tasteful understanding of typography, layout, & photo use
• Wholesale/Retail Design - In-store & signage with consideration of the physical space they occupy
• Packaging Design - Working & maintaining accuracy within highly structured packaging systems as well as bespoke creative opportunities

• You are as articulate and inquisitive as you are creative
• Internal rolodex of layout & typography solutions to solve design challenges quickly
• Experience or interest in working with creative generative AI tools and leveraging LLMs for efficiency
• A team player who is willing and happy to help
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• 6+ years of experience (mix of agency and in-house experience preferred)
• Experience using Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
• Light Illustration ability (i.e. icon creation); more advanced illustration ability is a plus
