the role

The Associate Manager of Post Production is the sole person responsible for managing all e-commerce imagery for brands LOFT, Versa and Lou & Grey, from post shoot to the final images posted online. They work behind the scenes to organize, distribute, and manage quality control on every e-commerce image. They also ensure that the product is accurately represented and that the final images reflect the best possible representation for all brands.

  • Oversee post-production for all e-commerce product photography images for LOFT, Versa and Lou & Grey brands for all on-figure and still images which includes retouching and site merchandising needs.
  • Maintain editorial quality standard mark ups to ensure that the product and model reflect all branding and look their best.
  • Act as main liaison between the Senior Art Director and the Retouching Team to ensure all creative decisions are executed correctly and in a timely manner for all ecommerce photos.
  • Mark up and review 80-300 images per day for each e-commerce shoot for LOFT, Versa and Lou & Grey based on shoot and website schedule needs.
  • Manage all e-commerce image workflow from post shoot to final website upload.
  • Make sure every image is delivered on time for each website launch.
  • Receive and distribute all contact sheets for daily ecommerce shoots to Art Direction and Merchandising teams.
  • Coordinate between in-house Creative Team and the third party Retouching Team for marketing/editorial images that are shot on the product set to oversee their retouching mark ups and maintain a timely delivery.
  • Oversee and execute all changes in Scene 7 for image naming, sequencing and resizing. This also includes restoring broken images for all brands to guarantee that the website is working at optimum ability for best sales.
  • Provide daily support for the Merchandising Team by ensuring all images represent the product correctly, are named correctly, and are sequenced correctly in the image host:
    Scene 7.
  • Monthly resequencing of images in Scene 7 for Sr Art Director.
  • Assess and manage color accuracy for product to make sure the sample is best represented online to reduce or avoid returns.
  • Approve rush and special retouching requests from Merchants or Merchandisers based on budget and necessity.
