This is not just a writing gig – it’s a chance to build your personal brand as a go‑to sci‑fi/fantasy personality for our international fanbase.

• Co‑host the Take the Black podcast alongside Winter is Coming editor once a week, including post‑TV‑show live episodes
• Share news and opinions about the sci‑fi/fantasy genre on the podcast
• Bring bold energy to express yourself as part of the fandom and create a fun rapport with your co‑host

• Create and share short‑form videos on the Winter is Coming Tik Tok, You Tube, and Instagram accounts three times a week
• Share news and opinions about the sci‑fi/fantasy genre in these videos
• Bring bold energy to express yourself as part of the fandom
• Tap into trends, memes, and viral formats

• Write articles on Winter is Coming at least once a week
• Cover popular TV shows, movies, and books within the sci‑fi/fantasy genre
• Produce fan‑driven content that provides opinions and news from a fan perspective
• Promote written content across platforms and link back to the site when relevant

• Obsession with popular sci‑fi and fantasy media and a passion for daily discussion (e.g., Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Fallout, Dune, Stranger Things)
• Comfortable on camera with energy, humor, and fan passion
• Creator mindset – fast, agile, and eager to build something big
• Ability to create multiple videos per week with a consistent tone and clear POV
• Familiarity with (or eagerness to learn) basic podcast hosting and posting
• Desire to grow your following and help build a personality‑led entertainment media brand

• This is a paid independent contractor role
• Monthly compensation negotiated based on experience and projected content output
• No set hours beyond the podcast recordings
• Contractor retains flexibility in how and when content is produced, within set expectations
• Success measured by output and audience growth

• Links to your existing Tik Tok, You Tube, or other multimedia content
• A 1‑minute video introducing yourself as a sci‑fi/fantasy content creator
• A writing sample showing off your fandom
