Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal collections, including researching trends and customer preferences.
- Create sketches, technical specifications, and tech packs for all loungewear products.
- Work closely with merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to inform design direction.
- Manage the sample development process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in design reviews and presentations, articulating design concepts and rationale.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in fabrics and garment construction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 5+ years and add a note that Sweaters experience would be a plus, but not required.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical design software.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and production processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
- Passion for fashion and an understanding of 525 America's aesthetic.
