Hartsdale, NY – Art Center Coordinator (Part‑time) at One River School of Art + Design

Base pay range: $16.50/hr – $20.00/hr
.

• Assist with student art show hanging and reception preparation.
• Help run birthday party events.
• Attend off‑site events.
• Assist with marketing by distributing rack cards in the community.
• Answer phones and meet and greet students and parents at the front desk.
• During summer, document classroom activity and upload photos to Padlet (training provided).
• Assist with any required administrative duties.

• Thoughtful communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑starter, well‑organized with the ability to set weekly priorities and goals for assigned tasks.
• Some weekend availability required; must be willing to work on Sundays.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of previous administrative experience preferred but not required.
• A demonstrated interest in visual arts (studying visual arts in college or taking fine art classes, etc.).

• Familiarity with G‑Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.).
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)—not required.
• Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and local Westchester blogs.
• Any interest or experience in art education or museum education.
