Position: Creative Strategist / Copywriter- Fashion, Luxury and Beauty
Location: New York

Our client, a boutique creative production agency, is seeking a sharp Creative Strategist / Copywriter with a strong background in fashion, beauty, and content production. This role is ideal for a concept-driven copywriter who pairs strategic thinking with exceptional writing skills to shape brand narratives and bring campaigns to life through words.

Responsibilities
  • Lead copywriting across brand and campaign initiatives, including brand storytelling, headlines, scripts, social, digital, and influencer content.
  • Research cultural trends, market insights, and consumer behavior to inform copy, messaging, tone of voice, and overall brand positioning.
  • Develop brand and campaign strategies rooted in strong concepts, narratives, and clear messaging frameworks.
  • Write and own creative briefs with a strong copy and storytelling foundation.
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, and producers to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly across photo, video, influencer, and digital executions.
  • Edit, refine, and elevate copy across all deliverables to maintain consistency, quality, and brand voice.
  • Build and present decks, confidently pitching copy-led ideas, concepts, and campaign narratives to clients.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a copywriter within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands or agencies.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a portfolio that demonstrates brand storytelling, campaign copy, and conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to translate cultural and consumer insights into compelling messaging, taglines, and narratives.
  • Comfortable owning copy from concept through final execution across multiple platforms.
  • Strong presentation and deck-building skills, with the ability to sell ideas through clear narrative and messaging.
  • Highly collaborative and experienced working with creative, production, and client teams.
