We’re seeking a confident, trend-savvy Social Media Content Specialist who thrives in front of the camera and knows how to turn cultural moments into compelling content. Reporting directly to the Founder and Head of Community & Partnerships, you’ll own our day-to-day social presence and play a key role in shaping how lil sweet treat shows up online and in real life.

The pick-and-mix candy store—featuring gummy candies imported from Spain, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, and more.

We curate a collection of treats from around the world, and are constantly adding new sweets. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media and content creation while working alongside a small but mighty team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

We’re seeking a confident, trend-savvy Social Media Content Specialist who thrives in front of the camera and knows how to turn cultural moments into compelling content. Reporting directly to the Founder and Head of Community & Partnerships, you’ll own our day-to-day social presence and play a key role in shaping how lil sweet treat shows up online and in real life.

You’ll be one of the faces of the brand — regularly appearing on camera, capturing content in real time, and quickly editing and publishing posts to keep pace with trends. This role requires strong organizational skills to manage content calendars, deadlines, and analytics while balancing creative spontaneity.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have a strong sense of ownership and are excited to drive your own roadmap to create buzz worthy content.

• Serve as a primary on-camera personality for lil sweet treat across social platforms
• Concept, film, edit, and publish short-form video content quickly and efficiently
• Confidently represent the brand voice, tone, and aesthetic
• Monitor social media trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments daily
• Rapidly ideate and execute trend-based content that feels authentic to the brand
• Identify opportunities to insert the brand into relevant conversations in real time

Content Planning & Organization

• Build and maintain social media content calendars
• Balance planned campaigns with reactive, trend-led content
• Manage assets, captions, approvals, and posting schedules across platforms

Community Management

• Engage with comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, thoughtful manner
• Help cultivate a loyal, highly engaged community of candy enthusiasts

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance metrics and translate insights into action
• Deliver clear weekly and monthly reports with recommendations for improvement

Events & IRL Content Capture

• Support community and client events by capturing high-quality, on-the-ground content
• Act as an on-camera host or interviewer when appropriate
• Partner closely with the marketing, community, and events teams to ensure alignment across campaigns

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a social media manager, content creator, or hybrid creator role; proven record of success managing and growing brand social media accounts across platforms
• Very comfortable being on camera and creating authentic, engaging short-form video content
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of Tik Tok and Instagram Reels culture and trends
• Strong instincts for timing, pacing, hooks, and storytelling
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content streams at once, who thrives in a fast-moving, creative environment
• Proficient in editing tools like Cap Cut, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Passion for social culture, internet trends, and community building
