Our 12-month Design Apprentice Program will give recent graduates or early career individuals the opportunity to collaborate with our talented design teams to learn all aspects of the design process. We offer training and learning sessions to give exposure to leaders and provide a big picture understanding to our business. The design apprentices also have the opportunity to present a final project to design leaders across all of the brands.

New York City Hudson Yards Office - Compensation: $26/hour

Here is what to expect from the recruitment process:
- Final Teams Interviews – Applicants selected for follow up phone or video interviews will be contacted throughout February.
- Apprentice Offers – Offers will be extended by the recruitment team late March to early April

Final date to receive applications – FEBRUARY 2nd APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONTINUOUSLY REVIEWED UP TO Final date to receive applications Work Structure – Onsite (5 days; 7:30am – 4:30pm)The primary role of the Craftsperson is to support the Repair and Workshop Department in all aspects relating to the repair of product that comes through the work floor.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in...Repair, Refurbish, Up crafting, Recycling / Remaking
- Upcraft Product (predominately leather handbags, Small leather goods and some knowledge of footwear and outerwear)
- Edge painting (touch-ups product and edge paint new product)
- Reinforcing, stitch or finish by hand and sewing machine
- Repair, restore and upcraft items made from leather
- Leather cutting skills
- Hardware removal and or application;
Remove hardware, finishes, binding, zippers
- Receive/unbox and properly stage repairs from direct mail, Retail stores and Department stores.
- Evaluate and sort product into different categories as defined by Repairs Department guidelines.
- Evaluate and properly sort product into the correct repair batches.
- Enter all batches data into the system timely and accurately.
- Stage batched repairs accurately for the next step in the process.
- Pack/ship products as needed back to customer for non-repairable or as required by management.
- Support raw materials inventory as needed
