Social Media Designer at Thought Catalog
Location:
New York, NY. Salary range: $76,900.00 – $ (as of 2 weeks ago).

Responsibilities- Design powerful and moving still graphics for social media posts in accordance with daily creative direction from our team.
- Interpret directions and execute daily creative post designs based on curated directions, quickly turning ideas, references, and briefs into polished visuals.
- Prepare export‑ready files and organize assets for easy publishing. Ensure designs are saved according to specific naming conventions and filing directions.
- At least 3 years of creative, digital design experience.
- Experience in Canva, Photoshop, and AI tools is recommended.
- Good communication and editorial skills; ability to copy‑edit captions is a plus.
- Highly organized with an eye for details.
