Design Apprentice – Jewelry & Hardware
Join Tapestry, a global house of brands, to apply for the Design Apprentice – Jewelry & Hardware role (12‑month program for recent graduates or early career individuals). We value diverse perspectives and inclusive culture.
Our 12‑month Design Apprentice Program will give you the opportunity to collaborate with talented design teams across Coach and Kate Spade New York. You will receive training, learning sessions, and a chance to present a final project to design leaders.
Program Details- Program dates: June 16, 2026 – June 1, 2027
- Work structure: Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday in office
- Location: New York City, Hudson Yards Office
- Compensation: $26/hour
- Benefits / Perks: product discounts, sample sales, apprentice educational & social events.
- Visa sponsorship: not offered.
- Complete the Online Tapestry Application by the February 2, 2026 deadline.

Final team interviews in February; offers will be extended late March to early April.
- 1+ year of related design experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of 3D modeling.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and build strong interpersonal relationships.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant design skills and projects (PDF or website).
The Design Apprentice will conceptualize, create, and develop fashion‑driven jewelry & hardware designs that reflect the brand aesthetic and creative vision. Responsibilities include maintaining design integrity, leveraging raw material expertise, collaborating with cross‑functional partners, optimizing samples and products, and managing tight deadlines.
