A company is looking for an Effects Artist to design and build visual effects for animated films.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build images and effects like fire, smoke, and water
Collaborate with artists and supervisors to achieve artistic goals
Implement and improve systems developed by other FX Artists for production shots
Required Qualifications2+ years of production experience with simulations and particle systems
Proficient in software such as Houdini, Nuke, or similar 3D packages
Strong visual understanding of physical dynamics and natural phenomena
Ability to self-critique and address feedback on creative work
Experience in animation / graphics / computer science / VFX education or equivalent
