Video Editor

The In‑House Editor will lead the creation, editing, and packaging of all Good Talk and Good Talk Media digital content. This role focuses exclusively on video editing, post‑production, Patreon content management, and supporting in‑house productions. You will be responsible for shaping the look, feel, and quality of all Good Talk visual content, ensuring it is culturally relevant, on‑brand, and delivered on deadline.

• Edit and package full‑length episodes of The Good Talk Show Podcast, including:
  • 1 full‑length You Tube episode
  • 1 adjusted full‑length Patreon episode
  • Create vertical clips per episode with subtitles.
  • Edit 1–2 mid‑length “clips” segments from every episode.
  • Edit and package original Good Talk content series.
  • Produce behind‑the‑scenes and “Real Good Talk” style clips highlighting authentic moments.
  • Create custom thumbnails for all You Tube and applicable platform uploads.
  • Produce recap clips (15 sec – 1 min) with compelling hooks.
  • Deliver platform‑specific video exports for:
    You Tube, You Tube Shorts, Patreon, Tik Tok and Instagram formats (deliverables only, not publishing).
  • Edit additional content featuring Good Talk hosts/guests: freestyles, interviews.
• Artist promotional content:
  • Produce promotional edits for artists, events, shows, merchandise, and brand activations.
  • Ensure all edits meet Good Talk’s standards for pacing, aesthetic, storytelling, and cultural relevance.

• Oversee and maintain Good Talk’s Patreon content across all brand verticals (The Good Talk Show, Good Talk Records, Good Talk Media).
• Upload adjusted full‑length exclusive podcast episodes weekly (≈ 1 hour).
• Deliver Patreon‑exclusive content:
  • Maintain a consistent Patreon posting calendar.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase Patreon subscribers and retention.
  • Coordinate with hosts, artists, and management to package perks.
  • Track Patreon performance metrics and provide insights for growth.
  • Ensure all Patreon content maintains high production value and brand consistency.

• Work closely with Good Talk hosts, artists, and guests to capture and package key moments during filming.
• Coordinate with senior leadership on content rollout planning and production priorities.
• Assist during live shoots, podcast tapings, and in‑office content days as needed.
• Support production logistics such as footage management, file transfers, and maintaining organized editing workflows.
