Vertical Talent is a creator talent agency focused on representing and scaling top food, culinary, and pet creators
. We work directly with creators to negotiate brand partnerships, develop long-term strategy, and help them build durable creator-led businesses.

We’re opening a Scouting & A&R Associate (agent-track) role. This is a paid, hands‑on training position designed for someone who wants real exposure to how creators get signed, represented, and scaled, with the long‑term goal of working directly with talent.

• Identifying high‑potential food, culinary, and pet creators
• Developing creative discovery systems (platform‑level sourcing, feeds, algorithm training, etc.)
• Researching creator businesses and identifying monetization white space
• Helping shape outreach and signing strategy
• Working closely with me and other agents to sign and service top creators

• People who are deeply online and naturally curious
• Strong writers who care about clarity and positioning
• Self‑directed thinkers who enjoy ambiguity and problem‑solving
• Those interested in building a long‑term career on the talent / representation side of the creator economy

This is not a glamour role and not influencer marketing. It’s a training ground for people who are serious about working in the creator economy and eventually growing into an internal agent / A&R role.

Prior experience in the creator or influencer space is not required
. Judgment, curiosity, and initiative matter far more than credentials.

NYC‑based is preferred due to hybrid work, but not a requirement.
