$642/Day NYC Casting Call for Real Surfers

A New York City production is casting experienced surfers for paid background roles in an upcoming shoot. The casting team is looking for men and women ages 18 and older who have genuine surfing experience and can bring authentic movement, confidence, and familiarity with the sport to the camera.

This opportunity is specifically for real surfers based in New York City. Selected talent will appear as surfer extras and may be asked to demonstrate their surfing skills or perform natural surf-related actions during filming. Applicants must be able to work as NYC locals, as travel expenses will not be provided.

• Appear on camera as a surfer background actor
• Perform natural surfing or surf-related actions as directed by production
• Demonstrate genuine familiarity with surfing techniques and movement
• Follow blocking and on-set instructions from the production team
• Maintain continuity during multiple takes and camera setups
• Remain attentive and camera-ready throughout the scheduled shoot
• Work professionally and cooperatively with cast and crew

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Open to all genders
• Must have real surfing experience
• Comfortable demonstrating surfing ability for the camera
• Must currently be based in New York City
• Must be able to work as a local hire
• Reliable and comfortable taking direction on a professional production set
• Travel expenses are not provided
