Male and Female Stand-Ins for Feature Film in Upstate New York

A feature film filming in the Pine Plains area of Upstate New York is casting male and female stand-ins for multiple production days in October. This non-union feature film casting opportunity is open to adults ages 18-70, and previous stand-in or on-set experience is not required.
Production is filling three stand-in positions-Dani, Jake, and Roda with each role requiring talent who closely matches specific height, build, hair, and complexion characteristics. Selected performers will assist the camera and lighting departments by standing in for principal actors while technical setups are completed.
Talent must be able to work as a local hire, drive themselves to the filming area, and commit to the required October dates associated with their stand-in role.

• Serve as a stand-in for a principal actor during lighting, camera, and technical setups.
• Follow instructions from the assistant directors, camera department, lighting crew, and other production personnel.
• Maintain the positioning and marks required for each setup.
• Arrive on time and prepared for every confirmed production day.
• Remain available on set throughout the scheduled workday.
• Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude while working with the film crew.

• Open to men and women ages 18-70.
• No previous stand-in experience is required.
• Dani Stand-In:
  Female, approximately 5'7", fit build, fair complexion, with blonde or light brown hair between shoulder and chin length.
• Jake Stand-In:
  Male, approximately 5'7", fit build, fair to medium complexion, with brown hair.
• Roda Stand-In:
  Approximately 5'6", fit to average build, fair complexion, with blonde or light brown shoulder-length hair.
• Must closely match the physical specifications of the stand-in position being submitted for.
• Must be able to work the required October filming dates for the selected role.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to the Pine Plains area as a local hire.
• Hotel accommodations are not provided.
• Current photos must be included with the required online application form.

• $250 for each 12-hour workday.
• Gas and toll expenses will be reimbursed.
