OverviewAs a Senior Video Editor at Razorfish, you will be joining our social discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice. You'll be embedded on-site with our client, a large entertainment brand, working alongside a team of over 30 people who manage organic social marketing for the brand and all its shows.
In this role, you'll be a senior creative voice on the team, setting up the editorial bar for a high-volume production pipeline, mentoring junior editors, and shaping how the brand shows up across Tik Tok, Instagram, X, and You Tube Shorts. This position turns high octane moments from live events, sports, pop culture, and original IP into scroll stopping content, while also elevating the craft and output of the editors around you.

- Edit and produce short form video content optimized for Tik Tok, IG Reels, You Tube Shorts, and X, setting the creative and technical standard for the team
- Review raw footage and briefs to build shot decision lists that serve story, pacing, and brand tone
- Lead ideation and packaging of content with creative directors, social strategists, and community managers
- Own final cuts on flagship or high visibility deliverables, ensuring logical sequencing, timing, and continuity throughout
- Stay ahead of trends, memes, audio, and platform shifts, translating them into editorial guidance for the wider team
- Apply color grading and sound editing expertise, guiding others on technical craft
- Champion new editing technologies and workflow improvements to increase team efficiency
- Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level video editors and motion designers, providing structured, constructive feedback
- Review and QC team output to ensure error free, on brand delivery across all accounts
- Support hiring, onboarding, and skill development within the editing team
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical or creative editing challenges
- Report to the Agency Producer while also partnering directly with client and agency leads on priority content and campaign strategy
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines across a high-volume production calendar
- Organize and maintain assets within existing archive infrastructure, setting best practices for the team
- Represent the editorial team in cross functional and client facing creative discussions
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience, including social first or entertainment/advertising content, with prior experience mentoring or leading editors preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong working knowledge of After Effects and motion design, plus advanced Cap Cut skills
- A strong portfolio demonstrating vertical video, storytelling, pacing, and platform native content at a senior craft level
- Deep familiarity with color grading, sound editing, and basic compositing/VFX/motion design
- Sharp instincts for pacing, framing, music, and cultural relevance, with the judgment to guide others’ creative decisions
