Job description

CAD Designer

Private Label client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented CAD Designer with strong experience in knit jacquard development, specifically with NED Graphics. The ideal candidate combines a contemporary design sensibility with technical expertise in print, color, embroidery, and production-ready artwork development.

Responsibilities
  • Create original artwork with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic aligned with brand direction.
  • Develop knit jacquard artwork using NED Graphics, including technical preparation for development and production.
  • Design and prepare print artwork, including repeat creation, placement layouts, artwork cleanup, color reduction, and production-ready files.
  • Develop embroidery artwork suitable for production.
  • Create, refine, and recolor print colorways while maintaining accurate color matching.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure artwork meets quality, timing, and production requirements.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of CAD design experience, preferably within apparel, textiles, or fashion.
  • Demonstrated experience with NED Graphics for knit jacquard development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of print development, repeats, placements, and production file preparation.
  • Experience preparing embroidery artwork for manufacturing.
  • Excellent eye for color, including color matching, colorway development, and print recoloring.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
