WWNY Television is seeking a Technical Media Producer to join our team. This position is responsible for directing morning newscasts, maintaining and ensuring the broadcast quality of our on‑air product, and performing a variety of technical duties in a fast‑paced, live control‑room environment.

• Perform live control‑room duties in a fast-paced broadcast environment, including managing commercial playlists, executing program, commercial, and promotional changes, monitoring on‑air content, logging discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with broadcast standards and FCC regulations.
• The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask and manage time in a deadline-driven environment effectively. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Candidates should have strong computer skills and a technical aptitude, with working knowledge of PCs, graphics systems, and automation computers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with a self‑motivated, focused, organized, and solutions‑oriented approach.
• This position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed to support a 24/7 broadcast operation. Broadcast experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
