Location: Town of Mount Pleasant
The P/T Technical Assistant/ Film Tech maintains the Film Departmentequipmentcollection and oversees the day-to-day operations of the department
Mac lab.
Duties include
- Tracking and updatingequipmentinventory viaanelectroniclending systemon an ongoing basis.
- Logging and updating student information;tracking equipmentreturns.
- Performing routine maintenance, fixing or recommending replacement of broken equipment.
- Setting up andbreakingdown equipment for classroom lesson plans.
- Troubleshooting student and faculty issues with camera, light, and sound equipment from pre-production through post-production.
- Overseeingday-to-day operations in the department
Maccomputerlab. - Supporting and assisting students working on film projects withissuesrangingfromeditingvideotoexportingacrossavariety ofsoftwareprograms.
- Reporting any issues with computers, printers, and projectors to IT/Media departments.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervising faculty member.
