Navy Yard Clothing Company is seeking a Fashion Designer with strong menswear and graphic design skills to join our New York team.
Location:
New York, NY — On-site
Employment:
Full-time
Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience
Responsibilities- Research trends and develop seasonal menswear concepts and collections.
- Create original apparel graphics, prints, patterns, CADs, and technical flats.
- Prepare accurate tech packs for sampling and production.
- Develop woven shirts, knits, matching sets, fleece, and outerwear.
- Select fabrics, trims, colors, and design details.
- Work closely with the design and production teams on samples, fittings, and revisions.
- 3+ years of fashion design experience preferred, with a focus on men's apparel.
- Strong graphic design skills, including original artwork, prints, and garment graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong CAD and tech pack skills.
- Understanding of menswear fabrics, garment construction, and fit.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Chinese or Korean language skills are a plus.
