Lighting Designer – Ivy Crest Theatre , NY Backstage & Technical

Hi!

I run a small theater company in NYC. We are producing an evening of one act plays at Urban Stages in NYC. It's a one week limited run. Load in is Sept 7 (Labor Day) the show opens Sept 10 and closes the 13th. 7pm show times Thurs/Fri/Sat and 2pm Sunday. We are looking for a lighting designer , ideally someone who can also run the board for the shows.

It's 3 one act plays, the whole evening runs about 80-90 mins. All are single set, no scene changes. If possible there are a couple sound cues we needed help with, simple, just music playing and a phone call, but okay if not. We were hoping to meet a couple times before load in to review and prep. $3,000 comp for the entire project.

I realize it's a tough week with Labor Day but we only have the space for a week and have limited in space rehearsal time. Load out and plot reset are that Sunday the 13th. Lighting package details are available on the urban stages website on the "rent from us page" towards the bottom.
