    Customer Service Representative

As a Billing Services Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing customer service that exceeds expectations to both internal and external clients. You will be dedicated to providing service to agents and clients in response to their billing related inquiries and requests.

    What will you do?

    Assume responsibility for the timely set up and maintenance of insurance policy payment plans.
    Assume responsibility for incoming inquiries via phone, e-mail, fax, etc., from clients and agents concerning premium billing as it relates to their insurance policies.
    Research and resolve billing related issues.
    Assume added responsibilities for fellow team members as needed in a team atmosphere.
    Reconcile payments received, correct misapplied payments, research payment history, process stop payment requests, and issue refunds when applicable.
    Process reinstatements on policies that have lapsed.

    Required Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    College degree or equivalent.
    Prior customer service experience.
    Positive phone disposition, with excellent oral and written communication.
    Passion to provide the highest quality of customer service, demonstrating ownership of billing related inquiries from start-finish.
    Accounts receivable/payable training or related experience and strong mathematical skills.
    Ability to learn/retain information quickly.
    Interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team focused environment.
    High attention to detail and follow-up.

    Salary for this position can range between $31063.50 and $38824.50 annually
