As a Branch Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers’ banking experience. You’ll perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures. Equally important is the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience.

• Use your people skills to connect with customers and help with technology challenges, casual conversations, and showcasing Capital One services and products.
• Help determine personal and business financial needs and connect customers with experts to guide their financial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with audit and security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• Support customers in all areas of the branch, including cash handling, service needs, and rotating based on customer needs.
• Improve the retail customer experience by reducing handoffs and acting as the branch expert.
• Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn; be trained on Capital One products, services and experiences to assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
• Be digitally savvy; educate customers on mobile and online experiences and how to navigate the branch’s laptops and iPads, and promote other banking channels and services.
• Work with an energized team of banking professionals and help inspire teammates.
• Research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement using available tools and channels to recommend solutions.
• Travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market as needed.

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience

• Associate’s degree
• 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. This salary information is for candidates hired to work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.

• Howard Beach, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Jamaica, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Kew Gardens Hills, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Queens Village, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• South Richmond Hill, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
